The faculty of Saba University School of Medicine (SUSOM) and Women’s Medical Student Association (WMSA) will be holding Saba’s Breast Cancer Walk on Wednesday, October 19.
The annual awareness event will start at SUSOM’s campus parking lot at 5:30pm, and the walk will be accompanied by Saba’s youth drum band.
The event marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sabans are invited to show their support and care for those directly and indirectly affected.
A short presentation by SUSOM professors and students will be followed with food and refreshments provided after the walk.
The organisers have breast cancer pink ribbon necklaces on sale, which can be purchased at the campus October 17-19.
