Some 70 participants competed in the race this year, and just like other years the Saban community came out in big numbers to support the athletes. The race started with a 800 meter swim in the Fort Bay, followed by a challenging 7 km bikeride to the end of the Mountain Road, the highest road on the island, and a 5 km run over some of Saba’s most beautiful trails to the finish in Upper Hell’s Gate.

Participants from Canada, United States, the Netherlands, Sint Maarten and Sint Eustatius came over to Saba to compete with the local Saban triathletes.
